Wani farfesa a fannin kula da lafiyar al’umma, Ignatius Onimawo, ya ce rashin abinci mai gina jiki a lokacin daukar ciki na iya kara barazanar kamuwa da ciwon suga daga baya a rayuwarsu. Ya bayyana cewa inganci da adadin abinci mai gina jiki da ke tattare da juna yayin daukar ciki na iya yin tasiri mai karfi da dindindin ga tayin.

Da yake magana da manema labarai a wata hira, Farfesa Onimawo, wanda tsohon mataimakin shugaban jami’ar Ambrose Alli ne, Ekpoma, jihar Edo, ya yi gargadin cewa rashin abinci mai gina jiki a cikin ciki yana da dadewa sakamakon illa ga lafiya da jin dadin jarirai.

 

Ya kuma bayyana ciki a matsayin wani muhimmin lokaci a rayuwar mace lokacin da uwa mai ciki ke bukatar ingantattun sinadirai masu inganci don tallafawa tayin da ke tasowa.

 

Baya ga sanya yara masu saurin kamuwa da cututtuka da cututtuka, Farfesa Onimawo ya ce rashin abinci mai gina jiki yana tafiyar hawainiya wajen warkar da raunuka da kuma jinkirta dawowar yaran da ke fama da cututtuka.

Farfesa Onimawo ya ci gaba da bayyana cewa rashin abinci mai gina jiki yana kara tsadar sha’anin kiwon lafiya, yana rage yawan aiki, da kuma tafiyar hawainiya ga ci gaban tattalin arziki, wanda zai iya dawwama kan talauci da rashin lafiya.

 

“Rashin abinci mai gina jiki na yara, gami da rashin abinci mai gina jiki, yana kara wa yara saurin kamuwa da cututtuka da yawa kuma galibi yana jinkirta murmurewa daga wadannan cututtuka, wanda hakan ke haifar da babban nauyin cututtuka a kasashe masu tasowa.

 

“Rashin abinci mai gina jiki, a kowane irin nau’insa, ya hada da rashin abinci mai gina jiki (lalata, tsagewa, rashin kiba), rashin isassun bitamin ko ma’adanai, kiba, kiba, kuma yana iya haifar da cututtukan da ba su da alaka da abinci,” in ji shi.

 

A cewar asusun kula da yara na Majalisar Dinkin Duniya, rashin abinci mai gina jiki kai tsaye ko kuma sanadin kashi 45 cikin 100 na mutuwar yara ‘yan kasa da shekaru biyar.

Hukumar Lafiya ta Duniya ta kuma lura da cewa, kula da abinci mai gina jiki da abinci mai gina jiki a lokacin daukar ciki na da matukar muhimmanci ga lafiyar uwa da jaririn da ke ciki.

 

A cewar WHO, cin abinci mai kyau a lokacin daukar ciki ya kamata ya ƙunshi isasshen makamashi, furotin, bitamin da ma’adanai, da ake samu ta hanyar amfani da abinci iri-iri, ciki har da kayan lambu masu launin kore da lemu, nama, kifi, wake, goro, kayan kiwo da aka yayyafa da ‘ya’yan itace.

 

Dangane da wannan batu, Farfesa Onimawo ya yi kira da a kara wayar da kan jama’a game da abinci mai gina jiki domin magance matsalar rashin abinci mai gina jiki a tsakanin mata a Najeriya.

 

Ya kuma shawarci likitocin da su rika yiwa mata masu juna biyu nasiha akan amfanin abinci mai kyau, musamman ma masu dauke da sinadarin iron da folate.

 

“Abubuwan da ake gina jiki irin su sinadarin Iron suna da matukar muhimmanci wajen haɓakar cell. Lokacin da mace mai ciki ta daina Cin abinci mai yawa mai dauke da Iron, za ta sami ƙarancin sinadarin Iron kuma ƙarancin shi zai shafi dan tayin kuma ƙwayoyin ba za su yi kyau ba. Wannan zai haifar da rashin lafiya lokacin da aka haifi jariri. Don haka, ya kamata iyaye mata su san duk waɗannan,” in ji shi.
